Palmtree Clinical Research, Inc. (PCR, Inc.) was founded in 2010 to provide leadership in clinical research and to bring new medications, devices, diagnostic tools, and medical treatments to the Coachella Valley. Often, these medications and so forth are experimental and only available in universities, medical schools and leading medical centers in large urban cities. PCR, Inc. conducts clinical trials, scientific studies, and investigator-initiated research throughout the desert communities. In 2012, PCR, Inc. affiliated with Eisenhower Medical Center to provide research capabilities for its primary care staff and residency programs.

MPOX Study
Have you been diagnosed with or recovered from MPOX?
Palmtree Clinical Research, Inc. is seeking participants to contribute to research on the human response by providing their blood for study.
ELIGIBILITY
• Volunteers have tested positive for MPOX
• Over 18 years of age

PURPOSE
The purpose of this clinical study is to study the immune response in individuals who have been infected with Monkeypox.
PARTICIPATION
• Participation will consist of completing a brief study questionnaire and up to
5 blood draws

Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) Clinical Trial
Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a condition where fat accumulates in the liver and is not caused by heavy alcohol use. Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) is a form of NAFLD in which there is an accumulation of fat in the liver along with inflammation and damage. This can cause scarring (fibrosis) of the liver and may lead to cirrhosis in which the liver is permanently damaged. Cirrhosis of the liver may lead to liver cancer.

Symptoms include:
Most have no symptoms, but some may experience:
- Weight loss
- Fatigue
- Pain
You may qualify for this no-cost clinical trial if you:
- Are 18+ years of age

Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Clinical Trial
COPD is a chronic inflammatory lung disease which causes obstructed airflow from the lungs. COPD is most often caused from a smoking history and may increase your risk of heart disease and lung cancer.
Symptoms include:
- Breathing difficulty/Shortness of breath
- Coughing/Wheezing
- Chest tightness
- Sputum (mucus) production

- Are at least 12 years of age
- Have a suspected gonorrhea infection

Gonorrhea Clinical Trial
Gonorrhea is an infection caused by a bacteria spread by sexual contact and can cause serious health problems if left untreated for too long. It is important to get tested and/or treated if you think you have gonorrhea or have a partner with gonorrhea.
Symptoms include:
- Green, yellow, or white discharge from the penis or vagina
- A burning feeling in the throat or when urinating
- Pain in the pelvis or testicles

- Are at least 12 years of age
- Have a suspected gonorrhea infection

Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) Clinical Trial
IPF is a a chronic, progressive, irreversible, and usually lethal lung disease of unknown cause that occurs mostly in elderly adults.
Symptoms include:
- Worsening cough & shortness of breath
- Fatigue
- Unexplained weight loss
- Muscle & joint pain

- Are 40+ years of age
- Have been diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) within the last 3 years

Colorectal Cancer (CRC) & Advanced Neoplasia (AN) Clinical Study
This clinical study is for individuals 45-84 years of age and are scheduled to undergo a screening colonoscopy and consider as 'average risk' for colorectal cancer.
The purpose of this clinical study is to collect blood samples to better understand the biomarkers of patients with colorectal cancer and help develop a blood-based screening test. Biomarkers are biologic features found in the blood and may be related to cancer risk.

- Single visit for blood sample collection prior to your scheduled colonoscopy
- Compensation for qualified participants
Syphilis Clinical Trial
Syphilis is a sexually transmitted infection that can spread via direct contact during oral, anal, or vaginal sex and can cause serious health issues if left untreated.
Symptoms may include:
- Rash
- Fever
- Swollen lymph nodes
- Muscle aches
- Fatigue

- Are 18+ years of age
- Have primary, secondary, or early latent syphilis
