There are times when the world seems to be moving a little too fast, and not necessarily in the right direction.
We have wars being fought, rights being challenged, political tensions that seem to seep into almost every conversation, and continued uncertainty around funding for HIV research, prevention and services. Then there are the personal losses that somehow hit us harder than we expect.
The phrase “it takes a village” has been around forever. At this point, it has probably been used so many times that it deserves its own eye roll. But clichés become clichés for a reason. The idea is still true.
